PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
Results
· 5km and 10km events timed using Results Canada- D tag system. D tags will be distributed at Race Package Pick-up.
· Results will be posted on the website following the race.
Tot’s Toddle Race
· Free for children age 6 and under.
· Register on race day.
· Treat bags for all participants.
Awards & Raffle Prizes
· 5km – Male & female categories – 12 & under, 13-17, 18-44 and 45 & over
· 10km – male & female categories – 13-17, 18-44 and 45 & over.
· 1km fun run or walk event male & female – 8 & under, 9-12. We will run the 1km runners in the age categories. We will do the fun walk/run for the remaining families with strollers in separate heat from the kids age category run. This is to make the fun run fair and safe.
· Treats for all registered 1km finishers.
· New: Loop the Lake Team challenge: Team award for overall winner in large and small Corporate Team categories and Ice User group team categories. See Team registration instructions tab on home page-Loop the Lake challenge.
Notes:
· Food and refreshments provided for all registered participants and volunteers. Spectators will have ability to purchase food/refreshments from vendors.
· Music and festival atmosphere runs 9am-1:00pm - bouncy castles and games. Bring your family.
· Sanctioned by Athletics Alberta. Part of Run Alberta Series.
· Technical quality dry wicking running shirt for all 5km/10km participants registered. Shirt's handed out at race package pick up. Encourage participants to register before April 15th to assist us in ordering shirts.
· regular T-shirt provided for Corporate Team Challenge participants ( not dry wicking quality)-as this event is cheaper to enter than the 5km/10km.
. No shirt for Ice User Group- as this is the cheapest to enter. Opportunity for raffle prizes and team prize giveaways.
. 1km participants will receive item to be determined yet.
Race Package Pick Up
Friday June 1st from 6-8pm at Genesis Place, Airdrie
Saturday June 2nd from 11am-3pm at Genesis Place, Airdrie
Sunday, June 3rd at 8:15-9am at outdoor track near start/finish line

9:25 5km start
10:45 1km start and Tot's toddle ( 6 and under)
11:10 Loop The Lake Corporate Team challenge and Ice User group team challenge start, staggered categories.
11:45 Awards ceremony top finishers and Raffle Prizes ( unclaimed prizes)
9:00 to 12:30: family fun carnival
NO STROLLERS PERMITTED ON 5km course or 10km course due to high numbers on paths.
Strollers are permitted on the 1km fun run.
